We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone. The B&B’s were fine and the luggage transport service was ideal. We’re not very experienced walkers – this was our 1st walking holiday and we never walked four days in a row, plus it included the longest distance we’d ever walked in 1 day on the 2nd day. But we made it and are very happy about that.

We really enjoyed it and (because it was more physical activity in a holiday than we’re used to) found that it had been a long time since we forgot about work so much as now. The walking required the energy we would otherwise have used in staying in touch with work. So that was a very good thing!

Just finished the Cotswold Way with Mickledore Walking Holidays and it was great! B&B’s and hotels were great, especially the smaller family owned places were brilliant. I would for sure use them again for my future adventures. They did a perfect job. Communication was easy, responded fast to emails. The travel kit contains everything you need and more… Nice app as well so you don’t need to bring extra documents with you.

Mickledore provided us with all the information we needed prior to and during our trip. You gave us a realistic view of what to expect and provided us with everything we needed for our hiking experience to go as smoothly as possible. I have done many walks with Mickledore (West Highland Way, Great Glen Way, SW Coastal Path, Coast to Coast, Cotswolds Round, Thames Path) and I plan to do many more (Northumberland Coast next). All have been seamlessly organised with a high standard of accommodation, reliable luggage transfer and useful trail information. The staff are responsive and knowledgeable. I recommend them without hesitation. Five stars from me.
