What a holiday it was – by far the best walking holiday ever experienced. Thank you so much for all the meticulous arrangements and above all else for the glorious weather! It was truly a fantastic holiday providing a mixture of glorious walking country and fascinating Roman remains and museums. The day at Vindolanda was quite exceptional. All the accommodations were also superb. And the transportation of our luggage worked perfectly. It is no wonder that we heard the same comment at each place we stayed –‘Mickledore is the best company of them all’.So thank you so much for such a wonderful service. My son (who is autistic) who accompanied me along with his support worker had been looking forward to walking part of Hadrian’s Wall for some 3 years and for him it was a tremendous achievement. And I am so glad that I chose Mickledore to plan the holiday. We will doubtless be using your services again in the future.

We found you on the Internet over a year ago and are fortunate that we did.
It was all beautifully laid out for us; the guidebook was excellent and for the most part easy to follow. Altho’ we would have delighted in meeting any one of you, it was not necessary given your packet and the details included.
From what we gathered along the way, Mickledore enjoys an excellent reputation – comments included that integrity and interest in the product has been kept, as has value for money. This is not easy and all of you are to be commended .Mickledore has given us all a fine memory and we thank you for it.

Pretty much everything was excellent. The best compliment I can pay is that we didn’t think about you at all on holiday, it all just went as planned.

This was a truly wonderful, memorable adventure. We had such a good time. All the Mickledore instructions were so thoughtfully planned, user friendly and reliable. We cant wait to do our next walk with Mickledore.

Would we use Mickledore again? Yes definitely – next year in fact for the West Highland Way! We have tried a number of walking holiday companies and Mickledore are our preferred choice.
