We had an absolutely wonderful time. Overall I would say we were extremely happy with all our accommodations. Your staff at Mickledore were always at the ready and helpful. What I believe was special for our group was, this vacation brought together two generations from a diversity of cities in the states, and we reconnected walking and talking. Just an ideal way to vacation together. Thank you for helping to make our family vacation so memorable.

Hi Mickledore: We had a wonderful trip and a lifetime experience. My Finnish friend was truly amazed to see how wonderful the English countryside could be and is already planning his next trip. All the B&Bs were excellent and Sherpa was very efficient in transporting our luggage.We thank you for doing a great job in organizing the trip and we will certainly consider you again for any future expeditions. By the way – there were a lot of over-70s doing the C2C. There was one 72-year old who did it in 6 days. I am 75 and I didn’t find it too taxing. Geriatric power!

We have had a very good holiday. In one word: it was great. All the accommodation you arranged were good or very good. The packed lunches were delightful. The route-description and the other information were very well. I am sorry that I cannot make one suggestion for improvement. It was all very good. Thank you for your excellent service. On our holiday we talked about other walks in the (near) future. And of course we will then take up contact with your organisation.

I have been delighted with the service once again having used you two years ago to walk the Great Glen Way. The quality of accommodations and organisation was again excellent and I look forward to booking the second half of the Coast to Coast in 2014.

We used you to do the Hadrian’s Wall walk 2 years ago – again you provided a perfect service with no issues with the booking or the arrangements for the holiday itself. We are looking forward to resuming the C2C in August.

We have very much enjoyed our C2C walk. You have arranged everything excellently. Most B&B addresses were good to excellent. The good weather has helped very much. We want to thank you for the impeccable organisation which has made this for us an unforgetable holiday.

We really enjoyed the variety of where we stayed – pubs, farm and small hotel etc. We felt we met so many interesting people. Bag transfer was perfect – always there waiting for us. Thank you for a great trip!

In all the accommodation we stayed we were always made to feel wwelcome. The breakfasts were always good, as were the evening meals, and rooms clean and warm. We had a very memorable holiday and look forward to next year!

We had a really great holiday – everything was so very well organised – it was always reassuring to find our suitcases in the guest house/ hotel foyer! Holiday planning and holiday itself was utterly hassle free.
