We booked the 7 day Speyside Way (including both spurs) through Mickledore and it was a great time. Mickledore does an amazing job of picking high-quality accommodations. You make this sort of multi-day walk really easy by doing all of the planning for us and your staff are super helpful.
We have used Mickledore Travel for at least six walking holidays and we have never been disappointed in their service, clear and precise paperwork, selection of night stay overs and great, regular communications. We would highly recommend Mickledore Travel and have done!
We are looking forward very much to next year’s holiday. We will be celebrating our 30 years of happy married life together and Devon and Cornwall paths might be the perfect way to celebrate.
We really enjoyed this walk, not least this was due to the efficient organisation by Mickledore. Thank you very much.
Would you use Mickledore again? Absolutely. Particularly enjoyed your selection of B&Bs/hotels.
Thanks for excellent organising. We loved it. The weather was mixed, but mostly good.
Thank you very much for scheduling the walking tour for us and looking after all of the associated accommodation and luggage transfer details. Your information package for the trip arrived well in advance of our departure date so we had everything we needed to prepare for the vacation. We also enjoyed the various restaurants that you recommended and the suggested activities for our rest day.
An excellent walk enhanced by good luck with weather and the very attractive River Spey. Thank you for your excellent work on this for us. The luggage transfers worked really well.
Thanks for a great holiday- we really enjoyed it.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Speyside Way, with the spur walk to Tomintoul being a highlight, particularly as the weather was warm and sunny. On the coastal walk from Buckie to Tug Net, seals and dolphins were sighted and the coastal scenery was impressive.
No problems encountered with any Mickledore arrangements, and all the natives were very friendly and helpful. We cheated on the last day and caught the steam train from Boat of Garten to Aviemore – a highly recommended way to finish the Speyside Way.
