Client Feedback - Where it comes from.
In each holiday pack we include a comprehensive feedback form covering all aspects of the holiday. Most of our client feedback quotes are taken from responses to this questionnaire, and the rest from unsolicited emails.
In 2011 over 70% of our clients returned their forms. In answer to the question "Would you use Mickledore again?" 98% said yes.
We were delighted with the arrangements Mickledore made for us in walking St Cuthbert's Way. The B & Bs were of excellent quality and that's really important when you've been walking all day. The weather was cold, although we did get a little sunburnt (!) and except for the mildest of showers at the end of the second day, we saw no rain at all- almost a miracle when walking in the hills!

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday, and we'd like to express our thanks to Mickledore for arranging the B&B's, the luggage transportation and the holiday pack we received in advance. While walking the Pilgrim's Path to Holy Island on our last day walking, we found ourselves talking about what we are going to do next year: walking in the Lake District? Hadrian's Wall? Northumberland Coastal Way? Who knows? But I do know whatever walking holiday we decide to make, Mickledore will play a role in it! Thank you very much and I am sure we will contact you again! We really enjoyed the variety of where we stayed - pubs, farm and small hotel etc. We felt we met so many interesting people. Bag transfer was perfect - always there waiting for us. Thank you for a great trip!

We have had a lovely holiday, the hotels and B&B's were all outstanding and the staff and b&b people were all very helpful and gentle. Our luggage was always on the right place on the right time.
For us, there really is no way to improve your organisation for everything was very satisfying.
Even the weather was outstanding, but we have doubts about your interference in that matter!

In all the accommodation we stayed we were always made to feel wwelcome. The breakfasts were always good, as were the evening meals, and rooms clean and warm. We had a very memorable holiday and look forward to next year!

Once again Mickledore did us proud and we had a great holiday. I can’t over emphasis how helpful and welcoming Marie and Russell were at The Edwardene. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were fantastic!
My friends and I walk every other year and we are very interesting in the Northumberland Walk next time so will definitely be booking through you again.

As usual, we had a fantastic holiday and the weather was surprisingly kind - instructions, maps and accommodation - very good as we have come to expect! I would like to single out Speybank B&B at Craigellachie for excellent rating. This really was one of the best b&bs we have stayed in the UK (and we have stayed in a good number). The attention to detail from the high spec of the bathroom and the comfortable bedroom to the provision of local toiletries was excellent. There was a comfortable sitting room with tea and home cooked goodies which was greedily welcome after our walk from Fochabers. The choice at breakfast catered for all tastes and was well cooked. There was even lovely tablet to help us on our walk the next day. All in all a fantastic experience - we have already recommended this to our family and friends.

We enjoyed our Great Glen Way holiday very much, the B&B's were, on the whole, very comfortable and of a high standard with welcoming hosts who were very friendly and helpful. I have never booked a holiday before without speaking to anyone at all and was a bit apprehensive of what we would get. No need to have worried, it was all so well organized and everything worked like clockwork.
I would certainly book another holiday through Mickledore and would like to say thank you to all the team for ensuring an lovely time.
